ugh, so i've never actually BEEN in savannah on MLK. bad. you cant get anywhere of value because they shut down MLK, which duh makes sense, but i didnt know that. couldnt paint, couldnt get my book to start reading for this week's english unit. so.........i surfed the internet literally almost all day. then sam called and i was horrified to learn it was 5. i began at 12. ugh. but i was working/homeworking. ok..mostly playing but it was relevant to homework so i felt ok.
i found about a billion websites, blogs, online stores dedicated to handmade crafts, repeat pattern designers, textiles, and goods pertaining to the previous. it was amazing. and my brain just like isnt working--its so overloaded with pictures! i have a new fat folder in my bookmarks, "cool stuff", and a new folder of saved images of patterns. i was being so organized in my online meandering, i was proud. because now i actually can figure out how to GET BACK to the sites...which lets be honest you cant always figure out.
some cool sites:
print & pattern [blog]
julia rothman
ipop
book by its cover
design sponge
star crafty
all the images seen here can be found at the print & pattern blog, you can find the designers there!
